Scott is an Extreme Freshwater & Saltwater Fisherman, World Champion Angler, TV Host on Discovery Channel, YouTube Creator and one of fishing’s Leading Influencers.
Scott fished professionally on the FLW Tour for 18 years and is one of the winningest anglers to date and one of a select few that hold all the FLW titles — Tour Champion, Forrest Wood Cup Champion and Angler of the Year. In 2020 he made the move to B.A.S.S. Opens, with the ultimate goal to fish the Elites and win a Bassmaster Classic.
When Scott first started fishing the National Bass fishing trail, he was on a hot streak from the word go. His first year of fishing in 1999, he was awarded the FLW Tour Co-Angler of the Year title. He won his first national Tour event with a purse of $100,000.00 in only his second event as a Pro in 2000. Since then he has amassed 8 more Tour wins including claiming the 2011 FLW Championship the “Forrest Wood Cup” and the 2015 FLW Tour Angler of the Year. Scott has amassed an amazing 50 top ten finishes on the FLW Tour and Bassmaster Tour. With 8 FLW tour wins and 3 million in winnings Scott is ranked #2nd in all-time money winnings and # 1 for most tour wins. With 19 Championship qualifications under his belt, he has proven himself as one of the sports most decorated and consistent anglers in history. He has also amassed 4 Gold Medals in International Competitions.
In 2005, Scott started his own nationally televised fishing show called the “Scott Martin Challenge” Now in season 17, the show has gained a large following of fans and is one of the highest rated outdoor programs on air today. The show is a fast paced, high quality fishing show that has Scott fishing against some of the world’s best anglers in many unique destinations. In addition to National Television Scott is know as the undisputed King of Social and Digital Media in the fishing industry. With over 1.5 million fans across Youtube, Instagram, Fishbrain and Facebook he is changing the game.
When Scott is not traveling around the world fishing tournaments, promotions or filming he is spending time with his family. Scott has been blessed with a wonderful wife (Suzanne) and four beautiful children (Jacob, Reed, Hilary and Amelia.) They spend time traveling and enjoying the outdoors together.
